09 Nov Important Update: XL Bully Dogs
We’re sorry to announce that we can no longer accept XL Bully dogs at Cranford Dog Walking Park.
This decision has been made following discussions with our insurance provider and careful consideration of how our site operates. Cranford Dog Park is a multi-field facility, and a public bridleway runs alongside two of the fields. Although bookings are private, the surrounding land is used by members of the public and could, in certain circumstances, be regarded as a public space.
Because of this, and the increased likelihood of contact between visitors across multiple fields, our insurer and park management have agreed that the site is no longer suitable for XL Bully dogs to be exercised off-lead or unmuzzled.
We understand that this will be disappointing news for some of our regular visitors, but this decision was made with safety and compliance in mind.
There are, however, single-field sites nearby that still welcome XL Bully dogs, and we encourage owners to explore those options.
